Meet Fernando "El Capitan" Garcia, the determined professional boxer hailing from Monterrey, MX, and fighting out of Dallas, TX, who is on an inspiring journey towards a World Title.

Since his professional debut in 2014, Fernando has been captivating audiences with his determination and impressive skills, particularly shining in the reality TV series "The Undercard," which was featured on CW33 and Telemundo.

In 2018, Fernando joined and became an integral part of the esteemed Derrick James World Class Boxing Gym. This training facility boasts a roster of world-renowned professional athletes, including boxing celebrities like Errol Spence Jr, a former unified champion. Anthony Joshua, a former two-time unified world heavyweight champion, Frank Martin, ranked a top lightweight in the world, Ryan Garcia, also ranked as one of the  world's active lightweight, contender Burley Brooks , and previously trained alongside Marcus Browne a  former WBA interim and WBC Silver light heavyweight world champion. All of these guys are under the guidance of Derrick James, a two-time Trainer of the Year recipient, Fernando has honed his talents and continues to grow as a professional athlete, trained by Maurice james & Adviced by Derrick James.

In 2021, As a testament to his growth and evolution in the sport, Fernando once again had the privilege of inspiring others and sharing his passion for boxing as a cast member of the reality TV series "Hard Fought" on CW33. Being his second appearance on reality TV, the platform allowed him to showcase his skills and determination, motivating others along the way. 

With an impressive record of 19 professional boxing fights, Fernando "El Capitan" Garcia remains focused on securing an opportunity to compete for a World Title. 

Throughout his career, he has graced numerous high-profile events at prestigious venues, including three remarkable appearances at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX, captivating performances at The Star in Frisco, TX, the renowned Staples Center Arena in Los Angeles, CA, the iconic Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA, and the electrifying Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Beyond his boxing career. Fernando recognizes the importance of education and has earned an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) degree, highlighting his commitment to personal growth and knowledge.

Fueled by his dedication, Fernando "El Capitan" Garcia consistently pushes his boundaries both inside and outside of the ring.
