Meet Fernando "El Capitan" Garcia
Fernando “El Capitán” Garcia’s career has been built one opportunity at a time, from local gyms and regional fight nights to some of boxing’s most recognizable stages.
Over the years, Fernando has competed at venues including AT&T Stadium, The Star in Frisco, The Staples Center, Microsoft Theater, and Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas and more. Each stop has marked another chapter in a career shaped by discipline, persistence, and a willingness to keep stepping into bigger rooms.
His journey has extended beyond the ring. Fernando has been featured across FOX Sports, Showtime PPV, Telemundo, and CW33, giving audiences a chance to see both the fighter under the lights and the work that happens behind them. Projects such as realtity tv series The Undercard and Hard Fought have added another layer to that story, offering a closer look at the preparation, sacrifice, and mindset that come with pursuing a life in boxing.
Fernando’s story has never been limited to boxing. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering, reflecting the same discipline, problem solving, and commitment to growth that have shaped his career in the ring.
